Build it · Run it · Keep the lights on
Somebody has to keep the lights on out here.
Two pumps, a bag of ice and a highway full of strangers.
Build the place they tell their friends about.
Every car is real
Every dollar is real
Every customer remembers
● WGUP 98.1 · NEWS
TRAFFIC Evening rush on the highway. Expect lines at the pumps.
◆ BUSINESS 412 customers through Route Nine Market so far today.
GassedUp.io is a top-down gas station tycoon where every car, every customer, every gallon and every dollar is simulated. That red pickup pulling in picked your sign over the rival's because you were four cents cheaper and your lot was lit. The woman at the register remembers that the restroom was dirty last Tuesday. The trucker idling at Pump 3 is deciding, right now, whether to come inside for a coffee.
You start with dirt, a driveway and a loan. You end with whatever you can dream up: a glowing truck plaza with a diner, a drive-in cinema under the stars, a motel with a mini golf course, a roadside giant waving at the interstate. Or a tidy little corner stop that simply runs like a clock. The road doesn't care. The customers do.

The biggest update yet
▸ Over 150 fixes and upgrades. The books add up, stuck customers free themselves, windows move and resize, and the news ticker reads out what is happening at your station as the day goes on.
▸ Daily decisions. Loyalty rewards, cash handling, pay at the pump or inside, store hours plans, loss prevention, branded or unbranded fuel.
▸ Operations and weather. Equipment that ages, tank sludge, a weather week to plan around, snow and ice on the lot, car wash tiers and a food menu you design.
▸ Late game. Bid for the town's fuel contracts, climb from diesel stop to travel center, run a chain of stations and franchise your own brand.
▸ Life on the lot. Seasonal inspections with a grade on the door, letters from the town council, geese, deer and the dumpster cat, customer stories, a year in review, and challenges with friends.

A living lot, not a spreadsheet
Traffic you can read. Cars queue, yield, merge and lose patience. Paint the lanes, drop a stop sign, hire a traffic controller with a paddle, or click a stuck car and ask it why it's waiting. It tells you.
Customers with minds. Hurried, curious, frugal, chatty: each one has a personality, a taste in decor and a memory. Regulars come back thinking about the price of regular and the song that was on the radio. Some of them have stories that play out over months of visits.
A crew with lives. Cashiers, stockers, janitors, cooks, mechanics, guards. Morale, energy, friendships, the occasional feud at the register. Train them, schedule them fairly, or watch the walkout.
The highway bites back. Fourteen things can happen out there: a two-car wreck that backs traffic up for hours, cattle loose on the road, a motorcycle rally that stops for fuel, a funeral procession, geese that will not be hurried, and a police chase that ends in your forecourt with a dozen cruisers, a helicopter overhead and the suspect walked to the car in cuffs. Your customers duck, film it, and come back tomorrow to see where it happened.
Weather with consequences. Thunderstorms, fog, heatwaves, blizzards. Snow piles up on the lot until you plow it. A tornado watch gives you a day to board up and get the crew ready to shelter.
WGUP 98.1. The local radio covers your station around the clock: your takings, your records, your robberies, the crash out front, the cows. Dusty Miles has opinions about your coffee.

Build it your way
Lay it out
Roads, parking, pump islands, buildings and interiors on a tile grid, with snap guides, mirroring and blueprints. Then watch builders actually build them.
Wire it up
Power, water, sewer and fuel lines. A dark store is a closed store. A dry tank is a lost day.
Price the sign
Four grades against the stations down the road. Hedge next week's wholesale. Fly a brand's flag, go unbranded, or build your own.
Stock it
140+ objects: gondolas and coffee bars, car washes, lube bays, EV chargers, a hydrogen pump, parcel lockers, a propane cage.
Grow
Buy the parcel next door. Then the one behind it. Then open a bowling alley on it. Research upgrades, beat the rival across the road, climb the truck stop ladder and run a chain of stations.
Dress it
A pick-your-own pumpkin patch in October, lights in December, fifteen spooky decorations your customers stop to photograph, and four station themes from Retro Diner to Neon Nights.

Saving your station
This itch.io edition talks to the same GassedUp.io server as the website. Sign into the same game account in Settings > Account, or use your transfer code, to reach your cloud saves from both. An itch.io login is not a GassedUp.io game account on its own; anonymous browsers start with separate identities.
Cloud saves, accounts, leaderboards, the gallery, the weekend league and bug reports use the shared server, so online features need an internet connection. If the server cannot be reached, the game says so plainly and saves only in this browser; those local saves do not sync later by themselves. Export the stations you care about as backup files. Browser storage limits can prevent local saving, and clearing site data removes local saves and sign-in information.

VERSION 0.17.0 · BUILD 18 · THE BIG ONE
This is an unfinished game that is updated often, sometimes several builds in a day. Expect bugs, balance swings and the occasional traffic jam the AI hasn't learned its way out of yet. Every build's notes are on the title screen under What's New.
Save compatibility is a promise we work to keep (old saves are tested against every build), but keep exported backups of the stations you love.
Developed by The Quackory. Main game art by Meryl; additional assets are AI generated, and code and sound are made with AI assistance, directed and reviewed by the team. Tell us what broke and what you want next in the comments. When reporting a problem, include the build number from the corner of the screen and the steps to make it happen again.
